I LOVE the headboard idea on the cover of this Romantic Country magazine!! It's an older issue #88 that I've had since last year I think. Here is an adorable cherub vase I picked up at the thrift store last week. I love it! It was only $1.95. I can't seem to get a good photo of it, my house is so dark. Well , we finally have one thing done on the list. Our new garage is up! I love it!! The grass is pretty trashed now but I'm not going to worry about fixing it up until spring. The old ugly garage is gone!!!! The cement guys are coming tomorrow to frame out the new garage floor and the patio!! I had to use ex-pens to block the pugs in the yard. With the garage gone they would have ran right out of the yard. Poor puggies! They look sad blocked out of the rest of yard. I am working on a granny square Blanket for my queen size bed, nothing fancy just traditional granny squares, 10 rounds, 8 colored and the last 2 white. I'm not done making all of the squares yet, but I have started to slip stitch some of the squares together just to get an idea of how it will look. Well I am just in crochet heaven today!! I received 2 more crochet books from ebay today! One is an out of print book called "Woman's Day Prizewinning Granny Squares" . It has some awesome afghans patterns!!! The other is a magazine from the 70's , "Todays Woman Granny Squares" . which also has awesome patterns in it!! I finally got the book today that I ordered on Ebay. It's called " Illustrated Patchwork Crochet" by Bella Scharf. It's from the 70's. I love it!! It's all about granny squares and different shaped motifs , free form crochet and so much more... You can usually get a copy on ebay for anywhere from $4.00 and up.My husband also brought me a surprise today. He was at an antique store with my daughter

This is my first post in my brand new blog. Seems like just about everyone now days has a blog, so I thought it was about time I started one too! lol. I loooove to Crochet and Sew .
